AASC believes that quality assurance (QA) and those who provide it contribute valuable oversight and guidance for Service Coordinator programs. QA professionals provide an impartial evaluation of programs and monitor for U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) compliance with the goal of improving resident interactions and documentation.

They also provide technical assistance and guidance to support Service Coordinators. HUD strongly recommends that all multifamily properties with Service Coordinators include a QA component, which is why it is an allowable program expense.
