You AASC'd, and we listened! Our members told us they wanted more included trainings, and we're excited to offer that through Core Connections virtual sessions! These sessions are included in your AASC membership and deliver interactive trainings once a month on vital resources that streamline Service Coordinators' daily work.

Attendance is complimentary for members, and you only need to pay if you require a training contact hour certificate. Members who require a certificate make a nominal payment of only $25 at the time they register (non-members pay a $35 fee for registration and certificate). Please keep in mind that certificates cannot be retroactively added after you sign up. 

Core Connections sessions meet HUD's statutorily required training and shed light on federal programs, innovative resources, and so much more. Participants attend these trainings through Microsoft Teams and engage with presenters over the course of the hour.

How to Attend

Core Connections sessions go live at 1 p.m. Eastern through the Zoom platform, unless otherwise noted. Zoom will send a calendar invite in your time zone.  Please use the link in the invitation to attend the meeting.

Core Connections sessions also give you the chance to interact with education materials you're taking. Through the chat function in Zoom, attendees can participate in conversations with peers and ask questions to presenters.

How to Receive Certificates

At the time of registration, participants can let us know if they would like to receive a certificate for the training they're attending for a minimal cost.   

In order to receive a certificate, participants must:

  • Designate you would like to receive a certificate when you register for your session
  • Provide your full name when logging into the Zoom link provided at registration.
  • Attend the session for 90% of the training time

Certificates will be released after payment is received. AASC cannot give refunds, transfers, or certificates if participants do not attend or cancel their registration less than 24 hours prior to the session.
