Overview & Description of Services

If you don’t know the answer to that question then Wesley Living’s Quality Assurance services can provide that assurance. Wesley Living is on the cutting edge of modern Service Coordination. With close ties to the American Association of Service Coordinators (AASC) as well as the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the industry as a whole, Wesley Living can ensure your program is doing everything you have designed it to do. If you don't have a Service Coordinator program, or looking to expand your program, Wesley Living also provides HUD grant writing services.

Keeping your program in compliance is critical to preventing HUD from recapturing grant and operation funds for non-compliance. Make sure your program has follow-up and documentation to ensure efficiency and compliance. Supportive housing is just good business. If you have conventional elderly housing without supports then you are not taking advantage of the biggest opportunity to outperform your competition.

By providing a Service Coordinator who is only interested in customer satisfaction, you can have a large advantage in marketing through superior performance and reduction of expenses through retention of residents. Less turnover is more savings. This could save your property five to ten percent.

Testimonials

  • "Working with Rachel as my QA provider has been a great learning experience. Rachel is a very professional, knowledgeable, and patient person. First of all, she shows her professionalism with training you according to Policies and Procedure and HUD guidelines.  She tries to make sure you understand and makes herself available when needed. Her patience is shown by telling you what to do, how to do it and to call if you need her assistance. I have shared several concerns with Rachel for guidance and I appreciate her caring advice.  Thanks Rachel for all you do."

She goes above and beyond to ensure that all HUD guidelines are met and policies and procedures are followed. I have called on Rachel several times and her follow-ups and call backs are exceptional. I have really appreciated her willingness to assist and positive attitude.

  • "Wesley Housing has provided not only high quality service coordination at Alco’s senior communities, but also significant and essential oversight of the service coordinators and the programs they facilitate. Through the Wesley QA and Service Coordination team, seniors at our properties have access to financial, medical, and social supports, allowing them to live well into their senior years."

  • "I have been employed with Wesley Living for almost two years and a service coordinator for 17 years, the quality assurance department at Wesley Living has been responsive to my professional needs in that I am informed of what is required of me as a service coordinator on an ongoing basis.  Rachel Horton is extremely knowledgeable in the field of service coordination.
The program that she administers goes beyond what is expected by HUD, offering supportive services for service coordinators with other significant programs and opportunities that increase the abilities of Wesley Living’s service coordinators. Our knowledge base, regarding people, has improved substantially as a result of the programs provided.  The quality assurance program has helped us to become effective in our field of work.

Service coordinators at Wesley Living are supported by the QA program to become professional service coordinators, SAMHA Excellence in Service Coordination Program providers, and have become certified as SHIP representatives. The quality assurance program has widened our scope of understanding when dealing with people from various backgrounds, and has provided ways to cope with individuals who might be experiencing mental health issues.  The book review readings are unique in that they help us to grow in knowledge and improve our mental health strength as we perform our daily duties as service coordinators.  Rachel also ensures that service coordinators are informed of training opportunities that are useful on the job."
