Michelle began her career at National Church Residences (NCR), working directly with the elderly living in affordable housing. Following her work at NCR she shifted the focus of her career to collaboration within the Central Ohio community. Michelle’s work as the vice president of strategic partnerships at the Healthcare Collaborative of Greater Columbus (HCGC) allowed her to advance the work of Medical Neighborhood by implementing and growing the utilization of an electronic referral tool among clinical and community partners. During her time at HCGC, Michelle created collaborative partnerships to improve the value of healthcare for all people.
She is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio and holds a master’s degree in sociology from Arizona State University. Michelle also earned a Certificate in Leadership in Human Services Management from The Ohio State University.
