Beginning July 14th, registrants who are PAID in full will be able to select specific sessions for each day of conference through the online Agenda Builder.

Can I earn continuing education credits at the conference?

Registrants can earn up to 16 training contact hours at #AASC26. The conference can be especially helpful for first-year service coordinators at a HUD property, who are required to have a minimum of 36 hours of training in their first year on the job.

Note - AASC members who are licensed social workers will have the opportunity to earn Social Work Continuing Education Credits through Howard University. You will be asked if you are a licensed social worker and if you wish to earn CE during the session selection/Agenda Builder process. You will need to provide full and accurate license information, if you wish to earn CE.  The entire event is NOT filed, but rather a sprinkling of the breakout sessions each round and the general sessions.  Sessions that are CE worthy will be noted in the descriptions when selecting sessions and creating your agenda in Agenda Builder.  Only those sessions noted will receive CE Credit.  More details will be provided during the session selection/Agenda Builder process.

What are the HUD Reporting and Training Requirements?

HUD requires 36 hours of training within your first year of hire and 12 hours for each additional year. Training hours are based on your hire date. Below is a chart that outlines the window of time you must complete your training based on the month you were hired.

Is there an online learning option for the conference?

Visit our website for self-paced training, videos on demand, webinars (including a conference flashback track), and much more!

Can I record workshop sessions? Will there be handouts?

To protect the intellectual property of our presenters, AASC does not permit recording presentations under any circumstances. We also discourage photo taking during presentations, as it can be distracting to our presenters. We encourage you to use your conference notebook and app to take notes during the presentations and ensure you get the information most pertinent to your needs! While handouts will not be provided for each session, participants will receive access to the materials that are provided during conference through the conference app.
