Donna Dixon
 

Donna Dixon is the special assistant to the president and CEO of Houston Housing Authority. Prior to her move to Houston, she was director of senior supportive services for 16 years at the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA). At CHA, Dixon was responsible for 10,000 residents in 58 senior buildings. During her tenure, CHA rehabbed all of the senior building as part of the agency's "Plan for Transformation," and Dixon was instrumental in relocating the residents.

Dixon received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, and has done further study at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Along with the numerous awards she has received, she is most proud of the Alumni Achievement Award as well as the Outstanding Alumni Award from the Black Student Union, both at Lewis University. She was also featured in the inaugural edition of "Who's Who in Black Chicago."
