Ross Goldsmith,
Senior Director of Marketing, Communications, and Public Affairs

Ross Goldsmith is a nationally recognized voice on branding strategy, data-driven communications, and public policy. With more than a decade of experience in local government, building coalitions both digitally and in the community, Ross understands how valuable inclusive messaging strategies are when crafting campaigns.

In his previous role in Public Affairs at the Franklin County Board of Commissioners, Ross led efforts to reach the more than 1.3 million residents in Ohio's largest county through social media, video and digital communications. 

Ross has proven to be an advocate and champion for progressive policy change - serving as a policy aide to a Franklin County Commissioner, overseeing programming at the Franklin County Child Support Enforcement Agency, and as an advisor to former Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner.  

An Ohio native, Ross lives in Gahanna with his wife and daughter, and is graduate of Capital University. 

At AASC, Ross is in charge of the daily marketing operations, including social media and long-term email campaigns. He oversees the planning of communication strategies and built the foundation for the JustAASC community, our social media platform solely for AASC members.
