Damika Withers

Damika Withers currently serves as Deputy County Administrator at the Franklin County Board of Commissioners - overseeing a number of agencies in Ohio's largest county. Before she assumed that role, she served as the Chief Economic Equity and Inclusion Officer in the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, at the Franklin County Board of Commissioners. Before her current role, she served as the Assistant Director of Support Services at Franklin County Office on Aging overseeing Adult Protective Services and the National Family Caregiver Support Program managing nearly $2 million in contracts. 

Ms. Withers also represented the agency on many health and human services initiatives that support collaborative efforts to enhance program policy and service delivery through a racial equity lens, while also serving on the Franklin County Board of Commissioners’ first Racial Equity Council. With 22 years of public service experience, Ms. Withers has worked with multiple vulnerable populations in the fields of health and human service and criminal justice.
