Mission

The mission of the American Association Service Coordinators – Alabama Chapter is to provide quality education and professional development for service coordinators, adopt the standards of practice created by the American Association of Service Coordinators, exchange information and network with other service coordinators within the state, and advocate on behalf of service coordination and seniors, families and disabled residing in our members’ low-income housing and other service-enriched housing environments.

Meetings of the AASC – Alabama Chapter are held four times a year. The meetings usually consist of a business meeting in the morning, lunch and an educational speaker for the afternoon session. CEUs are given for the afternoon session. Normally a member will volunteer to host the meeting at his/her property; therefore, the location of each meeting varies each time. For more information about the AASC – Alabama Chapter please contact one of the chapter officers listed above.
