The Power of Pause: Musical Mindfulness for Stress Management

Service coordinators are on the front lines of care and support but carrying the emotional and logistical weight of others can lead to chronic stress and burnout. This highly interactive session introduces music-based mindfulness techniques that promote self-regulation, reduce anxiety, and help staff reconnect with calm and clarity. Participants will explore how tempo, silence, rhythm, and breath are core components of music and can be used to create restorative moments throughout the day. No musical experience is required. Attendees will leave with simple, evidence-informed tools to immediately begin practicing “The Power of Pause”.
