Callie Allen-Boone,
Member Engagement Specialist
With more than 30 years of experience in senior housing, Callie Allen-Boone has dedicated her career to empowering older adults and supporting them in aging with dignity. For over two decades, she has served as a Service Coordinator, providing residents with the resources and advocacy needed to thrive in place. Her earlier career included administrative roles in Public Housing and management of a senior high-rise, giving her a broad perspective on housing and resident services.
Currently, Callie serves as Member Engagement Specialist at the American Association of Service Coordinators (AASC), where she amplifies member voices, strengthens professional networks, and advances national impact for service coordination programs. Prior to this role, she served as Service Coordinator at Greenwood Villa Apartments in Westland, MI. While she briefly explored program leadership in 2016 as Assistant Service Coordinator Program Director, her passion for direct resident engagement brought her back to her original role in 2019, where she continued to make a daily impact until her transition to AASC.
Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Aging Services. This blend of financial acumen and social work expertise uniquely positions her to advocate for sustainable, person-centered service coordination.
Since 2003, Callie has been an active member of both the American Association of Service Coordinators (AASC) and the Michigan Association of Service Coordinators (MASC). She has served as Treasurer and is currently in her second term as President of MASC, leading statewide advocacy and professional development initiatives. A sought-after speaker, she has presented at 17 conferences for AASC and other organizations, sharing her expertise on aging services, housing, and service coordination.
