Isabel McCaffrey


Ms. Isabel McCaffrey joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in 2000 as Chief of Asset Management and was promoted to Chief of Staff in 2004. She became President & CEO of Community Properties of Ohio Management Services (CPO Management), an affiliate of OCCH. CPO Management began as a $133 million preservation initiative, consisting of 250 buildings and 1,385 scattered-site units in seven inner-city neighborhoods. This effort sought to create neighborhood stability and a climate of revitalization through housing renovation and effective management. Ms. McCaffrey also served as the President & CEO of the 501(c)3 foundation, Community Properties Impact Corporation (CPO Impact). CPO Impact was created to help CPO Management realize its three-fold mission to provide quality, affordable housing; link residents with resources that stabilize housing; and move residents beyond poverty.
Ms. McCaffrey has extensive experience in property management, stabilizing troubled assets, acquisitions and is widely respected for her accomplishments in the area of team building and implementing management best practices. Prior to joining OCCH, she was with National Church Residences for 22 years. She maintains an NAHPe (National Affordable Housing Professional Executive), an HCCP (Housing Credit Certified Professional), an NHMS (Nonprofit Housing Management Specialist), and SHCM (Specialist in Housing Credit Management) certifications. She has completed coursework for CHAM (Certified Housing Asset Manager), is a certified Bridges out of Poverty© trainer and holds a Real Estate Broker’s license in the state of Ohio. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Service Coordinators (AASC), the Sequent Midwest Business Health Fund, and the National Leased Housing Association (NLHA).
