Contact Your Members of Congress and Urge Them to Support the FY 2017 HUD Spending Bill
The National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) and the Campaign for Housing and Community Development Funding (CHCDF) will hold a national call-in day next Wednesday, April 26, to urge Members of Congress to pass final spending bills for FY 2017 before the April 28 deadline, protecting affordable housing investments.
Please call your Members of Congress (MoCs) on Wednesday, April 26 and urge them to support passage of the FY 2017 T-HUD bill, as already negotiated by the House and Senate.
The current T-HUD appropriations bills (H.R. 5394 and S. 2844) fund HUD service coordinator programs at the following levels:
- Service Coordinators in Multifamily Housing for the Elderly: $75 million
- Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinators (FSS): $75 million
- Resident Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency (ROSS): $35 million
