We all think of leadership being a skill that is required by managers and executives. Leadership though is getting someone to do something you need them to do. We use leadership in every facet of life. This class takes a look at the ways we can influence people with leadership skills so that we can accomplish our missions. Leadership can get people to do something they don’t want to do but it is in their best interest, or to get a group to take advantage of synergies that wouldn’t exist without organizational leadership.

Ron Budynas is the vice president/chief operating officer for Wesley Housing Corporation. Wesley has 32 elderly housing facilities housing more than 2,200 elderly families in conventional, HUD and housing authority units in Tennessee, Kentucky and Arkansas. Thirty of these facilities have service coordinators, including the HUD, conventional and assisted living housing authority facilities. In addition to oversight, marketing and compliance responsibilities for these facilities, he develops and administers grants from various federal and local organizations. He graduated from the University of Memphis with a BS in education, and after building airports for 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, he has generated more than 20 years of real estate management experience.
