Service coordinators are engaged in building, nurturing or maintaining trusting and empowering relationships with their residents, team and management on a daily basis which requires a thorough understanding of ethical conduct, roles and boundaries. This presentation will build upon the fundamental principles of Ethics in Service Coordination as learned in SC101: Ethical Consideration for Service Coordinators by providing service coordinators and other housing professionals with ethical situations and scenarios to work through and identify the ethical principles involved. We’ll also review methods coordinators and the team can use to delineate boundaries and monitor potential areas of ethical conflict through the use of case study scenarios. Finally, the presentation will provide participant with best practices for decision making and conduct when ethical dilemmas arise.

Who Should Attend: Service Coordinators (older/disabled adults and families), child protective workers, social workers, property management staff
