About the Presenter

Patty Avery is a program specialist in the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection's Office of Financial Empowerment, and serves as program manager for Your Money, Your Goals, a toolkit and training program for a range of intermediaries who serve low-income consumers.  She joined CFPB in 2012. Ms. Avery’s work is informed by her stateside experiences as a banker, a leader on Bank On programs and efforts to end homelessness in Indiana as well as her international experience in working with street girls in Brazil.
