Webinar Registration by December 5, 2017 - Complimentary - NO CEUs
This webinar is 2:30 - 3:30 ET.
In a time of increasing personal and societal stress, exacerbated by the uncertainty and unrest of the times in which we live, professionals who work in service positions may experience distress and burnout. Service coordinators are particularly at risk of burnout due to working with many people who often have extreme challenges and tend to be marginalized. A person’s emotional health and psychological well-being can affect an individual’s physical health; thereby, directly impacting his/her overall health. Feelings of ambiguity and adversity are a catalyst for anxiety, fear and even depression. Implementing specific strategies to overcome these feelings is essential to self-care.
This complimentary webinar series covers content on: stress reactions, connection & support, deliberateness & integrity and perceptual maturation. You can take any or all of the parts and you do not need to take them in any specific order. There are no CEUs for these webinars; this featured series is intended to provide tips and tools to combat burnout.
Deliberateness and Intentionality are the focus of this webinar. Time will be spent exploring the values and beliefs that give you purpose in your work and your lives. This topic emphasizes creating more life satisfaction in the midst of current circumstances.
