The American Association of Service Coordinators (AASC) has now made the newly revised Service Coordinator Program Manual: Recommended Standards of Practice for Service Coordinators Working in Affordable Housing for the Elderly available for sale fully assembled and delivered right to your door!

Originally created in 2002, the Program Manual of recommended standards of practice serves as a guide for service coordinators and housing professionals. Service coordinators in affordable housing environments historically have had limited tools and/or resources to refer to for assistance or guidance to be better able to serve their residents. The manual and the resources contained within it have been designed for the benefit of service coordinators to use in their individual practices at their respective properties.

AASC’s Standards of Practice Committee began working to revise and update the manual in 2008 to reflect the changes in the service coordinator profession over the last seven years. The newly revised manual includes new content areas and existing content has been reviewed and revised to ensure compliance with HUD guidance and compatibility with the AASC Professional Service Coordinator (PSC) Certificate program.
